Step into a beautiful nature scene and follow your teacher to learn this ancient Chinese art. Tai Chi integrates the mind and the body through controlled movements and breath to help the qi (life energy) within us flow freely.
You’ll follow the motions of the teacher in front of you while voice prompts help you manage your breath and your attention. There are dozens of different flows to choose from, all around 5 minutes long, as well as a variety of 3ish-minute routines where you can measure your performance against a leaderboard. For those with more experience (and more patience) there are 15-, 30- and 60-minute options as well.
The teacher’s form is a bit ghostly-looking, as are fellow tai chi-ers around you, but after a minute or two when you slip into a meditative state you won’t notice that anymore.
